Description
I am a small Windsor dahlia farmer. I am looking for approximately 1 acre to farm my 1000+ dahlias and native plants. While I would prefer a longer lease - 5 years.
I have owned businesses before, in Boston from where I moved from 4 years ago. There I founded 2 florist shops, a landscaping business, and managed a garden center for 3 years. Here in CT, I have worked part-time at two retail nurseries.
I am no stranger to hard work, but I have a part-timer lined up and the commitment of the native plant grower to help. We would be an excellent addition to a farm stand with our cut flowers and in bloom potted plants. In Windsor I am a member of the Wetlands and Water Courses Commission. I am open to organic farms but will consider other. I practice organically.
