Description
CT Garlic Company grows high-quality culinary and seed garlic. We are interested in leasing 5–10 acres, working with a farming cooperative, or perhaps purchasing a small farm in the Connecticut river valley/capitol region.
We currently have our 2025 season crop in the ground but will need somewhere to plant in August 2025. We use all organic practices and inputs, have a 89hp tractor, and our own field equipment. We're looking for a 3-5 year lease, lease-to-own, or standard purchase agreement if the farmland fits our context.
Our farm business is structured as an LLC and we carry liability insurance for the properties that we grow on. We have a business plan, keep our books clean, and are in good standing with the CT Secretary of State. We have a specialty crop plan submitted with the USDA. Both my farming partner and I have collectively 10 years of farming experience.
While our main focus is growing garlic, in the future we are interested in growing produce, flowers, and herbs.
