Looking to continue efforts in establishing and maintaining new habitat for pollinators, and in parallel, establish small to mid scale composting operations, establish annual and perennial areas for herbs, vegetables, and fruit trees. I envision initially needing up to 2-3 acres;  organic-only methods to be used. My intent is not to start a commercial farm operation, have a business, or sell any produce, instead, donate any tangible product, especially to anyone in need, and/or foodbanks. I favor a permaculture style approach, and part of the effort would be to establish a small food/fruit forest. Once established, the site would have potential for educational purposes. A separate intent is to purchase land or easements to prevent them from being snapped up by real-estate developers or solar farms and the like. I am semi-retired after a long career in technology.
