I have experience growing diversified vegetables, herbs, and flowers on farms in CT and MA. I am seeking land to begin my own operation. With a long term vision of once again growing diversified vegetables, I am currently employed full time and my capacity is limited. Therefore, I am interested in land that could be used to grow winter squash and pumpkins while testing out the potential for growing hemp commercially. Hemp is an amazing tool for carbon sequestering, returning nutrients to the soil, as well as making all natural products from hemp fiber to animal bedding and even hempcrete in building supplies.
