Description

We are a small family of 1st generation farmers.  Both my husband and I grew up in suburbia and had to learn everything there is to know about tending the land, farming, and animal husbandry from ground zero.  We are both passionate about bringing nutritionally dense food to the local community with regenerative practices and will always strive to achieve the highest standards of quality and care for the land, animals, and people who work with us.  We both have hands on experience.  We worked for a family cattle ranch in NE Oregon for 5+ years, started a 10-acre permaculture farm in the PNW, and currently are learning the challenges of raising animals and growing food in the Sonoran Desert.  Nicole has extensive experience with animals from her own animals and livestock and also from working as a veterinary technician for 8 years.  She also is a certified herbalist. Jordan has been a mechanic for 30+ years and can work on all types of equipment.  He also worked as a ranch hand in Oregon for 5+ years.  We have two young sons who are interested in farming and who are the biggest driving source of WHY we want to farm.  We are moving to Connecticut to be closer to family and to have the opportunity to grow in a more sustainable, lush area with more rainfall and 4 seasons.
