Description

I grew up on a small home farm where we had horses, raised rabbits, chickens, and gardens.

As an adult, I've worked at a commercial flower/garden farm for 3 growing seasons, which was one of the best jobs I've ever had. I learned a lot and loved the work. We grew everything from herbs and veggies to a wide variety of flowers.

Now I have an interest in aeroponics farming, and have purchased a grow tower and some indoor setups for herbs and smaller plants.

Being self-sufficient for my family is my first priority, and creating income streams from the excess would be my next goal.

My parents are farmers now in Tasmania, and their property is set up to be self sufficient with greenhouses, orchards, and fields for their sheep and livestock. They process their own food and live a wholesome, healthy lifestyle which is something I deeply desire for my own little family.

Like my parents, I would like to maximize the farmland to be as efficient as possible for farming vegetables and fruit trees and bushes.

Herbal medicine is a passion of mine, and I have a desire to help conserve our native medicinal plants. Having established herb gardens for food, medicine, and the body products which I make would be very important.
