Simply Nature

I have been growing vegetables in an organic and sustainable way for 5 years at a community garden.  The vegetables include tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, beans, peas, cucumbers, luffas, leafy greens, okra, herbs, scallions and chives, etc.

After years of gardening, the community garden has become too small for my interests and ambitions.  I am looking for a much bigger piece of land to grow a bigger variety of all the vegetables I have been growing, as well as to add more types of vegetables.  In addition, I would like to learn to grow fruits and to raise poultry for eggs.  I am also interested in learning to operate farm equipment and machinery, e.g., driving a tractor.

I am looking to lease a small organic farm with the potential to buy it down the road.  I will also need a small apartment to live in while farming.  It will be even better if there is a stand at a farmer’s market to sell the extra vegetables that I cannot consume by myself, which will help me get into market farming from recreational farming.
