Hi there. I'm the owner of Sunny Stems Farm, a specialty cut flower farm. I'm looking for land to purchase, or lease for a pretty long time. Must have water access by the field (for drip irrigation) and electric somewhere nearby for my walk in cooler. If long term lease is an option, I need permission to build a high tunnel.

Background: Horticulture BS @ UConn, worked in greenhouses for a couple years, worked on Eddy Farm in Newington (which is where I fell in love with cut flower production & design), started growing & selling flowers in Hawaii and did some floral design for weddings on the side, worked on a coffee farm in Hawaii for a little bit, moved back to CT to start flower farm. I mostly grow for wholesale through the CT Flower Collective but do a farmers market and my own design work on the side too. 

I have been looking for a small farm to buy, or a house with a couple acres that are flat and farmable so I can turn it into my farm and live where I farm.
