I'm interested in becoming a farmer and am seeking an opportunity to get myself started. Currently I work as a landscaper and plan to continue this until I am able to support myself off of farming alone. I lack the funds to outright purchase any properties currently on the market as many are pricing with the intention to sell to developers and am therefore looking for a property owner who wants their farm to remain. I am interested in many different forms of the transfer of ownership and am able to put up some amount of capital; I would even be interested in long term use agreements or owners who are no longer able to farm, but would like to remain on their land for the rest of their lives. I would also have interest in properties in which areas are to be left untouched as forest.

My farming experience currently stems from maintaining the gardens at my parents house as well as my work as a landscaper. I am at the point where i feel confident enough to go out and effectively maintain a larger property and am looking for the opportunity to do so. With this I am very much interested in farming the property I purchase in much the same way as it currently is; as this is a much better means by which to learn than buying a fallow field no one has touched in 20 years.
