As stated, the property is owned by the Town of Glastonbury and is leased to Wind Hill Community Farm & Learning Center, Inc. We have operated a 501c3 nonprofit farm on this site for 13 years, which includes a community garden with 30 raised beds for rent by families, a 72' hoophouse, and several fields for use in operating a local CSA and presenting community dinners, concerts and educational programs including programs for elementary school children, all as part of our community programs promoting local farms, environmental stewardship and healthy lifestyles.

Description

We are offering our land to be used to develop crops to offer in a CSA system which will be overseen by Wind Hill Community Farm & Learning Center, Inc.   We will support and assist the farmer and will be involved in offering and managing the CSA of up to 30 shares for the 2024 growing season.  We are looking for an experienced farmer who can manage the set up, maintenance and upkeep of the farmed area throughout the season, with the assistant of the Executive Director and others experienced in running our CSA for the last 5 years.
